Agreed delivery entails that we against a surcharge agree on time of delivery with the recipient in advance. This additional service must always be booked if the recipient stays at a private or unattended address. Otherwise optionally available. We contact the recipient the day before delivery to agree on the delivery time, and the driver calls the recipient 30-60 minutes upon delivery to ensure that someone is present.

Mailbox Parcel (Pakke i postkassen) is a parcel that will be delivered in the recipient’s mailbox. If the parcel for various reasons does not fit in the mailbox, the sender may choose to leave the parcel on the door handle (in a special bag) to avoid it being sent to the pickup point. This service can be ordered either by the sender at time of booking, or selected by the recipient before receiving the parcel. Sender is able to use VAS 1280 to reserve against the recipient either adding or removing this additional service. When the parcel is delivered the bar code is scanned and the recipient will receive a notification. Note that if the parcel is delivered in the mailbox the additional fee will not occur.

To send dangerous goods we need to know what type of goods you are sending. You can search for either ADR number or type of goods for example "nitro". After finishing the order, print one label and waybill in four copies. Pin together the waybills and attach them and the label on the goods. If you wish to send goods in categories that you cannot find on our pages, such as explosives or radioactive substances, call Customer Service (Bookings) on 04045 for assistance.

When ordering dangerous goods, some additional information describing the goods is required. The following elements/attributes must be sent if they are defined for the specific UnNumber:

  • unNumber (mandatory)
  • containerId (mandatory when ordered with OIL_EXPRESS)
  • weightInGrams (either this or)
  • volumeInLitres
  • commodity (mandatory if specified)
  • packingGroup (mandatory if specified)

Label free provides the ability to send parcels without a label, and is useful for senders who do not have access to a printer. A unique code in the format BRING-1234-5678 is sent to the sender by e-mail after the booking is completed. This code, as well as the recipient's name and address, is written on the parcel before it is handed in. A supplement QR-code is also requested along with the label free code. This QR-code can be scanned by the staff to print a label which is attached to the parcel.

When shipping from Finland to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland or Åland, or from any country to Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland or Åland, the shipment will be transported by boat. In such cases the gross weight of Limited quantities must be provided. The document Multimodal Dangerous Goods Form must also be completed correctly and sent to Bring’s booking department before transportation begins

If a sender want their package delivered to the door, and it cannot be delivered (i.e. Business closed or recipient is not present), then you can now choose what will happen with your package.

This is controlled by the deliveryOption element/attribute

If you want Bring to attempt delivery only once and/or deliver package to nearest PiB, then you must tell us by setting this option. These options cost extra money but the customer/sender will only be charged if the event happen.

Example:

You send a package to a business with the deliveryOption=ONE_DELIVERY_THEN_PIB.

  • If Bring manage to deliver the package to the recipient on first try, then no extra charges is made.
  • If first attempt to deliver fails, then the package will be delivered to nearest PiB. The customer/sender will be charged extra.

Select pickup point in Norway

You can specify pickup point Id in request for above-mentioned services for delivery of parcels within Norway and to Norway from other countries. Use Pickup Point API to get list of nearest pickup points.

The parcel will be delivered to the pickup point specified in the request with SMS/Email notification. Pickup point delivery requires that the recipient has email and/or phone number set, so that he can receive notification when the package arrives at the pickup point.

Pickup point id and country code has to be specified under pickupPoint within parties as shown below.

You can specify pickup point Id in request for above-mentioned services for delivery of parcels within Sweden, Denmark and Finland, and to Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland from other countries. Use Pickup Point API to get list of nearest pickup points.

The parcel will be delivered to the pickup point specified in the request with SMS/Email notification. Pickup point delivery requires that the recipient has email and/or phone number set, so that he can receive notification when the package arrives at the pickup point. Delivery to locker requires that the recipient has a valid mobile number

Pickup point id and country code has to be specified under pickupPoint within parties as shown below.
