Reports API – Replacement of Emission Report Type IDs

9 December 2025 Important

From 09.12.2025, new emission reports are available in the Reporting API. These reports follow the principles of the ISO 14083:2023 standard for emission calculations and include data from 2025 and onwards.

The existing emission reports remain available for existing API users for now, but they will no longer receive new data. December 2025 data and all future data will only be available through the new reports.

We expect to decommission the old emission report types in early 2026, and they will only be kept available for a limited transition period.

Report type IDs no longer receiving updates

These reports remain accessible for historical data only:

• ENVIRONMENT_REPORT_PER_CONSIGNMENT
• ENVIRONMENT_REPORT_PER_MONTH
• CARGO-ENVIRONMENT_REPORT_PER_CONSIGNMENT
• CARGO-ENVIRONMENT_REPORT_PER_MONTH
• ENVIRONMENT_REPORT_INTERNATIONAL_PER_CONSIGNMENT
• ENVIRONMENT_REPORT_INTERNATIONAL_PER_MONTH

New report type IDs (use these going forward)

• PARCELS_EMISSIONS_PER_SHIPMENT
• PARCELS_EMISSIONS_PER_MONTH
• CARGO_EMISSIONS_PER_SHIPMENT
• CARGO_EMISSIONS_PER_MONTH
• PARCELS_INTERNATIONAL_EMISSIONS_PER_SHIPMENT
• PARCELS_INTERNATIONAL_EMISSIONS_PER_MONTH

What this means for you

To continue receiving updated emissions data, we recommend moving your integrations to the new report type IDs as soon as possible. The old report types will remain callable, but only for historical data and only for a limited time.

Important Update! New TLS certificates on api.bring.com 27th of October 2025

Migration from Buypass to Let’s Encrypt TLS Certificates As of 15 September 2025, Buypass has stopped allowing registration of new ACME Account and will stop generating/renewing TLS certificates from 15th October 2025. To ensure continuity, we are migrating all TLS certificates from Buypass to Let´s Encrypt.

As part of this activity:

• Old Buypass certificates will be removed
• New Let´s Encrypt certificates will be created

Impact to Customers:

• If your application does not pin the certificate, no action is required and there will be zero impact.
• If your application does pin the certificate, you will need to download the new Let´s Encrypt certificate and update your application configuration accordingly.

We recommend reviewing your applications to check whether certificate pinning is in place and preparing for updates if needed.

Reports API - Addition of new fields to the invoice specification for parcels

Starting from October 2025, two new fields have been added to the invoice specification for parcels:

• “HandedInDate” (Handed in date) – the date the shipment was handed over to us
• “InvoiceTriggeredDate” (Invoice triggered date) – the date the shipment is considered delivered or made available to the customer, which in turn triggers the invoicing process. This date can also be found on the invoice PDF under “Order Period”

Analytics - new documents API

3 December 2024 Important

A new API has been added for document search. First version of this API supports search and download of customs documents. These documents are the same that can be accessed in Mybring web in the documents/customs section.
