1 Delivery option Pakke levert hjem

Home delivery is one of the most convenient delivery methods for consumers, allowing them to get the product right on their doorstep. Posten goes a step further than some competitors by delivering to the doorstep even in apartment buildings.

Items up to 35 kg can be delivered using the service. It is especially recommended for products that are either heavy, expensive or time-sensitive for the consumer.

Insured, quick and delivered personally to recipients, it is a flexible and safe delivery method for both sender and recipient.

We recommend using [displayName] from the shipping guide as the delivery option label.

2 Estimated delivery

Estimated delivery is the combination of your internal lead time and Posten / Bring lead time. You have some options for presentation depending on your shipping routines. For more detailed information, see Implement estimated delivery

3 Optional delivery day

For home delivery, is possible to let users order a specific delivery date. You should add internal lead-time to the response by providing a date that the shipment will be sent to Bring to ensure that the customer does not choose a date that is impossible to deliver at.

Use the following parameters to retrieve alternative delivery dates for home delivery in Shipping Guide:

Note that if the package is delivered too late to Bring, or an invalid date is requested, the recipient will get a notification that the package can not be delivered at their ordered date, and that it will be delivered on the first possible date instead.

Recipients may also change the delivery date through Posten recipient apps.

Some postal areas are split into several delivery zones, which impacts the delivery estimates. See Implementing estimated delivery for more information.

Delivery time windows vary based on location, you should therefore use the [startTime] and [endTime] values from shipping guide for this display.

4 Description text

A short line that give more information about the delivery method.

We recommend using the value returned in descriptionText from Shipping Guide instead of a hardcoded text, as there might be different information for different area codes.

5 Hensetting (simplified delivery)

The customer can choose to have the package left outside or inside. If they choose outside, they can enter a description for the delivery person.
